Hello, let’s introduce ourselves! 

So we’ve been together for 11 years and have spent the majority of it living in South East London. Frankies aunt Penny lives here in France so every summer we would visit for a week on holiday. Because we were staying with Penny and Francois we felt more included and immersed into the culture than if we were to stay by ourselves. They would always block out some time to take us on little road trips and visit the spots only the locals new about. At the end of everyweek it was like reluctantly waking up from a nice dream and we’d spend the next few weeks trying to re-create French breakfasts and coffee in our little flat in London. 

We moved out of London in 2019 and rented a beautiful little house in Leighton Buzzard which at the time seemed a good move so we could start saving some money and eventually buy a house in the area. Seemed like a good idea on paper but the reality of it was the prices were impossible for first time buyers. 

During December 2019 we’d often spend Sundays in front of the open fire, drinking wine, watching tv and scrolling through rightmove and zoopla. We’re still not sure how it happened but we found ourselves on greenacres scrolling through properties for sale in the LOT… “What, I’m only looking, that can’t hurt can it!!” It turns out no, it can’t hurt but it certainly put you in ‘Am I Dreaming?, what the f are we doing…’ situations!

Lockdown 2020 enabled us to work remotely from home which awnsered the big question: So IF we move to France, what will we do for work?

Frankie works as a freelance marketting creator for small independent business’s in Bedfordshire and I (Rob) part own an independent tech company and work as a freelance sound engineer. 

We’re both musicians and enjoy performing in bands or writing songs so usually you’ll find us at the end of a party in a circle singing the Eagles!

We’re extremely lucky to be living in France and even more lucky to have such a gorgeous space to work with! The house needs alot of work, the barns need a lot of work, the tobacco dryer needs a lot of work the garden needs a lot of work but we have time to do all those things!
